| who cares what happens to the old ones? getting the new ones on without an impact wrench? Not easy at all. I actually recommend dremeling a beveled shoulder on the new studs if you are trying to seat them with hand tools. This part of the stud ends up getting pulled all the way through the hub and you are doing no harm by putting a bit of a bevel on it. A bit more controversially, and I know someone is going to disagree, i actually grind down the entire hub/stud mating surface on the stud just a little. Without doing this, getting the stud fully seated with hand tools sucks in my experience. I know if you overdo this the stud will not seat securely, but after doing this job a few times, im confident its the smart play when only hand tools are available.
Antihero These 2530's ain't half bad ;)
